Alfa battery is suitable for residential bathroom and toilet doors. The handle indicates the bathroom is occupied with a red light on the outside of the door, activated by the thumb turn. When the bathroom is vacant the handle signals no light. On the inside of the door Alfa battery has a matching Brighthandle Zero handle in stainless steel, which contains the battery. Power supply: Two AA batteries (LR6).

Alfa online has numerous possible applications; public bathrooms,

conference rooms, dressing rooms to mention only a few. The handle

indicates that the room is occupied with a red light on the outside of

the door, activated by the thumb turn. When the room is vacant there is

a continuous green light on the outside. On the inside of the room Alfa

online is available with:

» A handle communicating with light, identical to the handle on the outside of the room. (Alfa online duc)

Swap is suitable for anyone who wants to "leverscape' the interior of a residential home or a public environment in style. The design is consistent with the products Alfa battery, Alfa online and Zero. Swap comes with a strict transparent plexus glass handle. Several additional colors are available as acces- sories that are easily exchangeable to suit a certain interior design, or why not to match the seasons or holidays?

Power supply: No power is required.

Zero

Zeroiis a high-end handle in stainless steel. The design is consistent with the products Alfa battery, Alfa online and Swap; designed in order to consistently fit the interior design of a residential home or public environment. Zero does not communicate with light.

The history of Brighthandle starts in 2001 when Alexander Lervik, lead designer and co-founder of Brighthandle, came

up with the idea to create a door handle that communicates with colored light. Alexander created a prototype that he displayed at the international furniture fair in Milan, 2001. The response was massive. Brighthandle was considered one of the most innovative products at the fair and the product was selected ‘product of the year’ in the hardware category in the American magazine Architectural Record.
