LOUNGE

Does this fit together? Yes, but you don't believe it at first: 'Lounge' is a full-fledged armchair on a delicate four-legged tubular steel base with a short, rotating central column.

The horizontal cross-stiffening of the base is structurally and visually necessary, and here the designer has defined the cross-section of the profiles with a sure hand. High-gloss chrome plating or silver-coloured lacquer are the two intended frame colours. The manufacturer remains silent about the structure of the armchair body and merely refers to the flame-retardant polyether foam. The armchair, U-shaped in plan with a fitted seat cushion, measures 62 x 68 cm, is 75 cm high and weighs just 15 kilograms. Once you have taken a seat, rested your arms on the edges of the shell and stretched out your legs, you want to stay seated — not only during the fair.

Does this really fit together? Yes, but at first, you don't think so. ‘Lounge’ is a full-blown easy chair on a delicate four-prong base of steel tubing with a short rotating centre column.

The horizontal cross-shaped stiffening of the frame is a structural and visual necessity, and the designer has defined the tubing’s cross-sections with a steady hand. The frame is available either in a high-gloss chrome-plated version or lacquered in a silvery colour. The manufacturer refuses to comment on the structure of the armchair's carcass, referring only to the highly flame-resistant polyether foam. The U-shaped outline of the armchair with its fitted-in seat cushion measures 62 X 68 cm, itis 75 cm high and weighs only 15 kilograms. Once you have seated yourself in it, have laid your arms on the shell's edges and stretched your feet, you want to stay put like that — not only during the fair.

Upholstered comfort on delicate legs. 'Lounge' seems to float.

Padded comfort on delicate legs. 'Lounge’ seems to be hovering in mid-air.

Does this go together well? Yes, but you don't believe it right away: 'Lounge' is a real armchair resting on a slender four-legged tubular steel base with a short rotating central column.

The horizontal cross-brace for stiffening the base is necessary both for reasons inherent to the construction and from an aesthetic point of view, and the designer has defined the profile diameter here with confidence. The base is offered in bright chrome or silver lacquer. The manufacturer provides no information on the structure of the armchair body and simply mentions the flame-retardant polyether foam. The U-shaped armchair is equipped with an inserted cushion, measures 62 x 68 cm, has a height of 75 cm and weighs only 15 kg. Once you have taken a seat, rested your arms on the edges of the shell and stretched out your legs, you want to stay seated — not only during the Fair.

The zipper in the back reveals the removable cover.

The zip fastener on the back suggests that the cover is exchangeable.
