Based on mathematical calculations,
the aim was to diffuse a warm white light, equal in intensity, via LED ar- ranged on all sides of the intricately- waoven steel spring sphere. WWW.moooi.com

ALEXANDER LERVIK
The enlightened brain Fascinated by light, Alexander Lervik places it at the heart of his Creations. Privileging LED and fiber optic solutions, this Swedish-born designer creates visually emotional concepts. His Light trees sparkle po- etically in the night, as do his glow- ing Sense light swings that produce a hypnotic light show activated
by the rocking movements made by children. Not lacking a sense of humour, Alexander Lervik has pro- duced a replica of his brain with the help of a 3D printer, which he then transformed into a standard lamp. Undoubtedly a brilliant idea for il- luminating other bright minds, My- brain lamp is on show at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Goteborg. www.lervik.se
