CRAZY CHAIR. Mats Bäcker has immortalized the Diva bar stool from 2005 on the stage of Södra Teatern with performers from Cirkus Cirkör.

SINGLED OUT. Bruno Ehrs had the chair Eye Chair from 2012 upholstered in lamb's wool and photographed it on Gotland.

...which can be found, among other places, in the restrooms at Hotell Rival on Mariatorget and at Nasdaq OMX in Värtahamnen. The company that manufactures and sells "Brighthandle" is owned today by Assa Abbloy.

...hottest product from Alexander Lervik is an award-winning (Red dot award) folding table, ”Lucy”.

The craziest is ”La Lumiere au chocolat”, a lamp with a lampshade made of chocolate. When the lamp is turned on, it is completely dark at first. The heat from the light bulb causes the chocolate to start melting, and after fifteen minutes, lumps of chocolate remain.

The chefs of the future - will ensure quality

The chef's days as an entertainer are numbered. He, because it is usually a he after all, will go from rock star status to being a role model and good citizen.

That conclusion is drawn by the analysis firm United Minds in this year's trend forecast ”Food Change 2014”. The chef, United Minds believes, will move from cooking food to growing, hunting, and guaranteeing the raw ingredient.

It is no small role to shoulder given autumn's debate about food fraud and the spring's horsemeat scandal that have caused the Swedish public's confidence in the food industry to decline.

Will start serving

The chef's role at the restaurant is also increasing, he is even beginning to compete with the service, note both United Minds and the advertising agency Food & Friends, which recently presented a similar trend forecast, ”Mash it up 2014”.

The question is how new that is. At Noma in Copenhagen, for example, the chefs have served food for several years.

Speaking of Noma, Food & Friends predicts that this is the end of the Nordic food trend, a period of purity with origin and provenance in focus.

Food & Friends bases this among other things on Noma having lost first place on the list of the world's best restaurants. The new number one, the Spanish El Celler de can Roca, allows itself to be influenced by flavors from all over the world.

Penalty fee for not showing up

Yet Noma is still number two and is leading developments in several respects. The juice trend that the Swedish analysis firms predict in their trend reports was already a fact at Noma a couple of years ago in the form of a non-alcoholic beverage package based solely on juices.

In Sweden, several luxury restaurants have begun charging fees to guests who do not cancel in time or do not show up. This is part of a trend that means restaurants place demands on guests, according to United Minds.

Other similar demands are that the time the guest is allowed to use the table is now limited. It is not always possible to book a table, and if it is not possible, the guest has to wait or perhaps stand in line. And it is not even certain that the guest gets to choose dishes themselves. It is the chef's choice that applies increasingly often.

But back to juices and vegetables. Even the bar is beginning to look like a produce section with all the cocktails with green elements, United Minds notes. And the trend of urban farming is only growing stronger.

The vegetable has been upgraded in status, as has certain junk food, especially hamburgers. Then we are onto meat, which is increasingly seen as a climate villain.

Climate-eating is completely right, according to United Minds, as is eating food cooked from scratch, following the 5:2 method, being a vegetable eater — and eating meat from Swedish farmers.

Among what is wrong, throwing away food, being careless with children's food, and refusing locally grown and organic stand out.

Shipowner buys Oslo's most expensive flat

Shipowner Olav Nils Sunde has paid 250 million kronor for an apartment in Oslo.

Official documents show that Olav Nils Sunde, who owns the ferry company Color Line, has paid 236469393 Norwegian kroner, corresponding to 250 million SEK, for 1187 square meters.

The apartment, which is a merger of four apartments, is Norway's most expensive, according to the Norwegian business newspaper Dagens Näringsliv.

The apartment is located on Tjuvholmen by exclusive Aker Brygge in Oslo.

”Some choose to invest large sums in Picasso or Munch. I have chosen to invest in an outstanding and unique residence on Tjuvholmen. Even though it turned out to be an unimaginably expensive investment and at a significantly much higher price than I had planned, I am convinced that this will be a good investment in the long term”, the billionaire writes in an email to Dagens Näringsliv. The squares are to be filled in so that each row, horizontally and vertically, and each 3x3 box, contains the numbers 1-9 without any number appearing twice. The solution is on the last page of today's newspaper.
