In February, their work will culminate in the exhibition Dit ljuset leder at Designgalleriet. It will be an installation based on a specially composed piece of music by Eva Dahlgren on the theme of light. SAVE ARTICLE

In the exhibition, visitors will be guided through darkness to encounter points of light made of glass, light, and sound along the way. Glass objects will play a central role, and ELLE Decoration joined Alexander Lervik and Eva Dahlgren during their production day at Målerås glasbruk in October. In close collaboration with the glassblowers in the hot shop, the central glass objects for the exhibition were then produced.

We were also present at the rug company Ogeborg when specially designed rugs were ordered, and we will report later on the remaining stages leading up to the opening of the exhibition on 7 February, during Stockholm Design Week.

The idea for the collaborative project came to Alexander Lervik when he was asked by Designgalleriet's Stefan Nilsson to create an exhibition for design week in collaboration with someone else. When Alexander a few days later listened to a song from Eva's latest album, he decided to write a letter to her.

– A week later I received a fantastic reply, and we met in Eva's studio and connected over this project, even if the form of the whole thing was quite vague and unclear back then, says Alexander Lervik.

– We wanted different objects and music for them, but we didn't know how to do it. It felt interesting, fun, and crazy, and it challenged us, says Eva Dahlgren.

The Venice Film Festival 2026, the 83rd edition of the prestigious event (which is actually the world's oldest film festival!), is currently taking place.

Over 10 days in the beginning of September, filmmakers and actors gather for high-profile and extravagant film premieres, interesting talks, and to celebrate the industry's most outstanding achievements over the past year.

The festival is also an exciting fashion event with star-studded red carpets following one after another. And when it comes to exciting fashion events, we can boast Swedish representation in the form of Alicia Vikander, who is on site in the Italian city doing press for the film The Echo Chamber.

On the red carpet, Alicia Vikander arrived wearing a custom dress designed by Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton and jewelry from Cartier. The light blue dress was sleeveless with a straight neckline at the top and ruffles in varying lengths at the bottom. The icing on the cake was the bow at the waist – which gave almost fairy-tale-like vibes.

Furthermore, we have been treated to Kendall Jenner in Giorgio Armani, Suki Waterhouse in Saint Laurent, and Bhavitha Mandava in Chanel. Below, we list the best from the red carpet at the film festival so far!
