tingest creates home training equipment to fit any interior décor

borrowing traditional scandivanian craft, swedish design studio tingest presents its ultimate training equipment for homes. the first collection includes dumbbells, trigger point rollers, a hula-hoop, training bag and kettle bells.

alexander lervik, founder of tingest, explains that the vision for this collection ‘focused on developing stylish equipment that is both functional and pleasing to the eye, and can be placed prominently in any room’. studies have long shown that a good exercising habit has an incredible impact on people’s daily lives. yet, accessibility is often key for those who work out — which is why exercising at home has become such a popular activity. one problem, however, is finding room to store all of the equipment when no longer used. hence with these scandinavian-designed objects, people will want to have them as a natural part of the home décor.

the tyngdlyftaren marble dumbells come in 3,5 and 7 kg weights — with a slightly sandy bottom surface to avoid free rolling. the massören cork trigger point rollers and yoga blocks have a double function; they can either be used as decorative pieces in the house or to alleviate back pain by stretching and loosening joints. on the other hand, the kroppsbyggaren cast iron kettle bell has an arched handle for comfortable support and a simple, minimalist design that adds a unique touch to any house.
