The idea came from a simple question: what would a company look like if you could see it? Not a logotype, not a chart, but the people. Each head holds its own light and is addressed individually, so the whole volume can be written to like a screen with depth. Text, film and movement travel through the grid rather than across a surface, and a figure can walk from the front of the cube towards the back of it.

Some 35,000 parts and 24,000 LEDs went into the build, developed together with Stockholm Lighting Company. The colour is never still: the heads shift from orange to blue to red through pinks and greens, and the space around the cube changes with them.

"The heads constantly change colour," Lervik has said of the piece, "creating a playful and vibrant space good for meetings, reflection and mingling." That was the intention from the outset — an artwork placed where people pass each other every day, which gives them a reason to stop.
