Stella 60

Stella 60 develops the construction first explored in Castor. The power cable enters through a small tube at the side of the shade, leaving the centre visually untouched. Here, however, Castor’s cone has been replaced by a broad 60-centimetre half-sphere, giving the lamp a softer, more expansive presence.

A fine suspension wire holds the aluminium shade while the curved cable becomes an expressive line above it. The offset connection creates a subtle tension between balance and movement, making the practical route of the cable part of the lamp’s identity rather than something to conceal.

Produced by Noon, Stella 60 casts a wide, direct light over a table while remaining sculptural even when switched off. Alone it forms a strong focal point; arranged in groups and different scales, the hemispheres create a floating landscape of light.
